About me
I am currently employed at a Boston area startup, SimpleTuition, as Director of Information Architecture. SimpleTuition.com develops user-facing web applications for the education and financial markets.
My work style:
- I am tool-agnostic, but prefer sketchy/low fidelity IA deliverables for their speed, flexibility, and engagement value.
- I prefer to work in an agile/fast-paced environment.
- I believe in making design decisions based on a combination of data and expertise.
My work experience includes consulting at the Bentley Design and Usability Center, as well as web design, information architecture, content management and programming in the non-profit, healthcare, and software industries.
My education includes a Master's in Human Factors in Information Design from Bentley College, a BA from Boston University in Psychology and a Certificate in Client-Server Programming and Web Development from Clark University.
